There are plenty of ways to fill up your day if you find yourself running out of things to do. You could take a virtual tour (or 10) and paint along with all 403 episodes of The Joy of Painting. Still, when it comes to the kiddos, it can be hard to keep them engaged—or it was before Disney had anything to say about it.
ABC and Disney are teaming up to bring The Disney Family Singalong to your living room. The special features everyone’s favorite hits, plus celebrity appearances, and we seriously can’t wait to tune in!
It’s the Most Magical Way to Spend an Evening
If you grew up in the era of VHS tapes, you may remember Disney’s famous singalongs. This one is hosted by Ryan Seacrest and an animated character who acts as your guide through the verses. The one-night spectacular features performances by Christina Aguilera, John Stamos, Michael Buble, Thomas Rhett, Jordan Fisher, Ariana Grande, Little Big Town and so much more!
The Disney Family Singalong isn’t just celebrities, though. You’re going to love every song in the lineup, which includes:
- “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast
- “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana
- “Colors of the Wind” from Pocahontas
- “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” and “Let It Go” from Frozen
Plus, there will be some catchy tunes from the High School Musical and Descendants series. You can check out the full tracklist here.
P.S. You can enjoy Disneyland’s famous Dole Whip while you sing along, too.
When to Tune In
The nationwide singalong will air on ABC on Thursday, April 16 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. Not only will The Disney Family Singalong be keeping our spirits up, but the special will also bring awareness about Feeding America and its response to the current outbreaks. (We’re sure there’s room for donations in there somewhere, too.)
Don’t miss out on a night of magic with your whole family. And if you still can’t get enough of Disney, take these virtual Disney World rides!
